Katie Alleva’s new body of work zigzags through the family archives exploring the life of her Italian ancestors ‘pre-migration to post migration’. Alleva is interested in uncovering how trauma affects emerging emotional cultural identities. Raising awareness of the impact of conflict on culture and society, the artist investigates displacement and intergenerational trauma.

I am super excited to be running 4 (BADGE MAKING, MAKE A CLOCK, ARTISTS' BOOKS & LEAF PRINTS) of these delightfully colourful and creative My POP-UP CREATIVE workshops. To be held at the beautiful EMPORIUM that is Riley Burnett in Lennox Head, in the School Holidays. Please book sooner rather then later as places are limited. Each workshop is 2 hours, costs $25 per head (such a bargain!), kids get a cupcake and cordial plus get to take home the marvellous creative creations they make on the day!

AP is showcasing at this event. Our first ever BYRON BAY showcase/market style but at night time and in cocktail attire! It's going to be a fun night with over 30 artists, photographers, musicians, fashion designers, performers, dancers, film makers all hand picked for the event.

This is our new favourite market ever!!!!!! Make sure you come along to the next one called WINTER WONDERLAND. Held in the Brunswick Heads Memorial Hall, packed full with lovely makers and artists under a roof full of red bunting.
We are part of the opening of the new Moonrise Gallery in Mullumbimby. We have a little space in the gallery where we are selling the AP laser cut brooches, badges, postcards, cards and zines. Come on down.
An exhibition that celebrates motherhood, womanhood and children in all its glory and pays homage to the sacrifices women make as they birth and raise their child/children. A contemplation of the pain and beauty of the constant struggle to balance a life with kids, arts practise and work.
