Strawberry patch
Strawberry patch
A stunning wet cyanotype using foraged ferns and plants from my garden in Mullumbimby. I also used strawberries (after eating them of course! ) on the print. I was interested to see how they would print.
A wet cyanotype is where you paint the chemical straight on, lay the fresh flowers down, sprinkle some salt, spray some vinegar and lay some bubbles and cling wrap over the image. Place a piece of glass goes over the top, take outside and expose it to the sun.
Printed on Kadhi circle paper. This paper has a lovely deckled edge. Each print has been wiped over with a protective museum quality wax.
